Event Producer of Liv The Weekend, Orlando Newton believes that next month’s Liv The Weekend can be sustained throughout the years to come. Liv The Weekend is a locals-only staycation event scheduled for Ocean 2 resort mid October.
Exciting experience on offer for locals at Ocean 2 Resort
One local hotel is collaborating with an event organiser to create a new and exciting staycation weekend experience for locals.
Sales and Marketing Manager of Ocean 2 Resort, Jacqui McDermott shared her excitement of partnering with Nouvelle Vie during a press conference in the penthouse suite at Ocean 2 Resort on Wednesday.
In her remarks, she revealed that Ocean 2 will be opened next month for Liv The Weekend. The package will offer one weekend, two nights, three parties to locals only between October 16-18, 2020. Guests who stay at the St. Lawrence Gap four star resort will enjoy the modern accommodation while participating in the daily entertainment.
The scheduled activities include A Back In Time Pajama Fete, Beach Ball Barefoot Elegance and Breakfast Party over the three days.
Event Producer, Orlando Newton said due to the pandemic, the Liv The Weekend event was launched earlier as it was originally scheduled for 2021.
“We think that our community is ready for this event. We hope to grow it into Liv Weekend or Liv Week within the next three years,” said Newton.
He added that in this new era of tourism, it was important to create a product that can sustain them throughout the years. He extended an invitation to Barbados to support the event.
